THIS IS A SPECIAL SECTION FOR TRAVELING FAMILIES LOOKING FOR MORE THAN JUST SUN AND BEACHES IN MALLORCA
Your only vacation photos are poorly taken selfies with your phone.
You spend your vacation taking a thousand pictures of your family, but you don’t appear in any of them.
The photos you took end up disorganized and mixed with other pictures, buried in your phone’s memory.
Does any of this sound familiar?
If you think that booking a hotel, flights, and packing good sun protection is all you need for your trip to Mallorca, I’m sorry to say you’re wrong. You're forgetting something very important.
During vacations, we are more relaxed than in our daily lives, with fewer worries and more free time. It’s the perfect moment to plan a family photoshoot. Your trip to Mallorca can be the perfect excuse to update your family photos.
My name is Aina, and Mallorca is my home. I was born here 40 years ago. I speak Spanish, Mallorquín (our beloved native language), and English.
I have two wonderful mallorquín children, and I’ve been a photographer specializing in family and newborn photography (with my own studio in Palma) for over 10 years.
I love everything the island has to offer: the sun, the sea, the green forests, the cobblestone streets in the city center, the gastronomy, and the traditional festivals.
I want tourists to take home the impression that Mallorca truly deserves. Beyond sun and beaches, Mallorca is so much more, and I’d love to share it all with you during our photoshoot.
In fact, when you book your photo session in Mallorca, I’ll send you a carefully crafted guide about the island, made with love. Inside, you’ll find recommendations such as where to buy the best ensaimada in Palma, the best activities to do with kids during your vacation, kid-friendly spots, and much more.
Also, you’ll receive an exclusive tote bag made with traditional Mallorcan fabric and a selection of local products for you to enjoy.
I want you to experience Mallorca, to savor it, and to discover places that don’t appear in the usual travel guides. I’ll show you some of my favorite hidden gems. And what better way to do it than with a Mallorcan photographer by your side?
Are you already convinced that you absolutely must take advantage of your vacation and book your photo session in Mallorca? I hope so! But if you’re still unsure, here are a few more reasons:
1- Mallorca enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and offers a variety of landscapes: beaches, the sea, wetlands, mountains, forests, flower fields in spring, almond trees in bloom, and charming old-town streets. In some spots, you can even have both forest and sea views at the same time. Isn’t that amazing?
2- Testimonials from families who have already stepped in front of my camera:
I can easily book a family photo session with you!
But before you do, you should know...
Before the session, I will give you detailed advice on wardrobe and other aspects to ensure everything runs smoothly. Together, we will choose the location, always considering the orientation and lighting conditions. Most of the time, sessions take place at sunset when the light is much softer and more beautiful.
However, my experience with foreign families has made me realize that Spanish children generally go to bed quite late. Your children tend to go to bed much earlier, which can sometimes be a challenge for late-day sessions, especially in summer when the sun sets very late.
In my opinion, it’s worth making the effort to stay until sunset. But if that’s not possible because the children aren’t used to the schedule, we can always do the session at another time of the day. We’ll just need to carefully select the location, ensuring there are shaded areas...
During the session, if there are young children, we will play—a lot. We’ll let them explore their surroundings, fall, laugh, and cry. We won’t force them to look at the camera and smile if they don’t feel like it because, years from now, we’ll want to remember them as they truly were, not as we made them be. In fact, I might not be taking pictures all the time; I might get caught up playing with them, searching for little ants or blowing soap bubbles if necessary. They might not even realize they’re having their photos taken!
If you're all adults or not-so-little children, don’t worry—this isn’t about posing all the time. Just trust the process and let yourselves go...
WHANT TO SEE MORE PHOTOS?
If you click the button below, you’ll find more examples of my work. But let me warn you—every session is unique, and your photos might not look exactly like the ones you’ll see.
That might seem like a downside to you, but to me, it’s exactly what makes each session and every family truly special.
